Imran Anwar, politically active when he lived in Pakistan, moved to the United States, more than 10 years ago. Almost 4 years ago he moved to Long Island. As he began to discover more about the fascinating Long Island area he also began to learn more about the colorful characters, the professional politicians, the likable leaders, the dangerous demagogues, and the secretive string-pullers on the Long Island political scene.
Initially these pages will aim to bring together a single, independent, neutral place where politicians can state what they stand for, local readers will learn and decide what they will put up with, and the media and outsiders will get a feel for what goes on in the Long Island Political Scene.
