St. Paul's 1976 Cambridge Classmates' 2005 Award Giving Ceremony
Imran Anwar visited St. Paul's in 2004, after almost 28 years and announced scholarships. 1976 classmates Ian Sequeira, Mohsin Shad and Oscar Freitas joined in and contributed equal amounts of money to establish this annual effort. During a follow up visit this year, Imran distributed the award certificates (that Ms. Ernestine & Sir Peter very quickly arranged and produced) and cash prizes to top position holders in IX and X Cambridge and 8 and 9 Matric. The goal is to give incentives to students which helps them do well in their class and aim higher in their Cambridge/Matric exams. That helps the students, the school, the city and the country enjoy rising standards of academic excellence, so one day these students can then come back and do their bit to serve the school and the country.
